THERAPY CATS

If you’ve been to ProActive Massage Therapy, you may have already met the four rescued kitties who make the clinic their home. For many people, the presence of animals can be a source of comfort and healing, so the appearance of a cat during a therapy session can result in spontaneous feline therapy for clients who have a soft spot for cats.

The cats are free to roam in and out of the main treatment room in my clinic.

There is also a cat-free treatment room if preferred.

 

Like people, cats can benefit from gentle, informed bodywork approaches, including myofascial massage, craniosacral therapy, kinesiology taping, and acupressure.  In November 2025, I was the fortunate recipient of a scholarship for Feline Bodywork Certification Training which will allows me to extend my passion for compassionate, skillful touch to our feline companions.
